Who Are We?
Southern Highlands OWN (SHOWN) is one of our newest groups – the idea formed when two OWN members moved into the district and wanted to offer companionship and activities for the older women in their new area.
At their instigation, Southern Highlands Older Women’s Network (SHOWN) was established in October 2020.
The group met intermittently due to COVID, but has now resumed regular meetings and has established, or is establishing, several groups including a walking group, book group, indoor bowls group, movie group and gardening group. Other groups will be formed as interest grows.
The group will identify community service initiatives and have a range of interesting speakers booked throughout 2021. We meet on the second Monday of the month at 2pm. Do come along to get to know us!
Interested? We would love to hear from you.
